Playbook Election Challenge
Politico engaged Insomniac Design to design and develop a web-based Playbook Election Challenge platform to reach people across the United States in advance of the 2018 midterm elections. Insomniac Design worked closely with the Politico communications team to design and develop the website, game features and functionality. The platform allows users to predict who they think will win midterm election races, and awards prizes as part of the contest.

User Experience & Gamification
The platform featured special touches of interactivity and gamification to create an engaging experience for people entering the contest. We developed a custom algorithm to calculate each user's scores based on their submissions.
The website was unveiled during the 2018 election season and promoted extensively on Politico's website and social media channels.
